Upon graduating from Spelman College, Azline launched her seven-year career in global business at Delta Air Lines working in the Pricing and Revenue Management department. She executed the leisure and business passenger pricing strategy for international markets and contributed to the transformation in which Delta de-commoditized the in-flight experience for customers traveling to Ghana, Nigeria, and Australia. Through her professional experience working with airline partners, Virgin Australia, and Korean Air, Azline gained an intimate perspective of brand management within diverse communities.
Azline found herself at the ceiling for individual contributor roles, but not quite skilled as a manager and people leader. Subsequently, she attended The Wharton School and the Lauder Institute to earn an MBA in Finance and a Master of Art in International Studies.
After becoming the first Black women to win the Jacobson Global Venture Award at the Lauder Institute, Azline collaborated with a Wharton peer to support retail operations in Dakar, Senegal. Then, she interned for OZE, a fin-tech start-up in Accra, Ghana. After graduating, Azline began working for The Vanguard Group supporting international projects. She has worked in Mexico City and London, UK supporting go-to-market strategies. She is currently helping Vanguard open its newest location in Hyderabad, India, focused on technology services.
